What do I get?
The Family Binder: a 33-page, large-print PDF with 12 sections, from an Emergency Page for the fridge to letters to the people you love. You can type into it on a computer or print it and write by hand.
How do I get it after I buy?
Right after checkout you'll get an email with your download link. You can also download it from the order confirmation page. Nothing is shipped.
What do I need to type into it?
The free Adobe Acrobat Reader (for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android) or Preview on a Mac. Some web browsers can fill it in but may not save what you type, so Adobe Acrobat Reader is the safest choice. Save your copy after each sitting.
Can I print it?
Yes. It's letter size (8.5 × 11 in) with a wide left margin for a 3-hole punch. Print it at home or at an office store.
Is this a will or a legal document?
No. It's an organizer that points your family to your documents, accounts and contacts. It isn't a will, trust, power of attorney or healthcare directive, and it isn't legal, financial or medical advice. For those documents, talk with a licensed attorney in your state.
Is my information safe?
Everything you write stays on your own computer or paper. We never see what you fill in. The binder tells you to write only the last 4 digits of account numbers and never to write down passwords.
Can I make copies for my family?
Yes, for your own household and family. Please don't resell, share publicly or post the file online.
What if it isn't right for me?
Contact us within 14 days of your order for a full refund. You don't need to explain why.
